PURPOSE: A controlling method for the cooling fan of a car is provided to minimize the corrosion and cracks of a radiator caused by the adherence of foreign substances such as the aqueous solution of calcium chloride by controlling a cooling fan. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method for the cooling fan of a car comprises the following steps: a first determining step of detecting the cooling water temperature of an engine in order to compare with the preset temperature of cooling water(S10); a second determining step of detecting whether a car is driving when the detected temperature is lower than the preset temperature(S20); a third determining step of detecting the surrounding temperature of the car in order to compare with a preset surrounding temperature when the driving condition of the car is detected by the second determining step(S30); and a forth determining step of detecting humidity through a humidity detecting unit and generating a cooling fan rotation signal when the humidity is higher than a preset humidity when the surrounding temperature is lower than the preset surrounding temperature(S40).
