KEYWORD EXTRACTION SYSTEM FOR SEARCH ENGINES AND EXTRACTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A keyword extracting system for a searching engine and an extracting method thereof are provided to optimally combine with searching characteristics of the searching engine by selecting a keyword according to the characteristic of a product and a company. CONSTITUTION: User terminals request the search of a home page by transmitting a searching keyword related to a searching target home page. A searching server includes a searching engine and a DB(DataBase) unit and is connected to user terminals through a network. A searching homepage sentence list DB(221) stores and separates a sentence included in the searching target homepages. An optimal searching word list DB(222) in each searching target homepage stores optimal searching words in each searching target homepage corresponding to the characteristic of a product and a company. A searching engine(210) executes a first search step by matching the search keyword with the searching homepage sentence list DB and executes a second search step by matching the search keyword with the optimal searching word list DB.
