PURPOSE: A doctor blade device and a printing method using the same are provided to increase the lifetime of a blade and a printing cylinder by reducing the abrasion of the same. CONSTITUTION: A doctor blade device comprises a printing cylinder(110), a free wipe(130), and a blade(120). The free wipe removes a part of an ink layer on a surface of the printing cylinder while being spaced from the surface of the printing cylinder. The blade removes the ink layer on the surface of the printing cylinder while being in contact with the surface of the cylinder.
