PURPOSE: An application execution device and a method thereof are provided to reduce an application area hidden by a virtual keypad, thereby supplying convenience to a user. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(110) receives user input requesting the execution of a windows application. An interface providing unit(130) stores interface information corresponding to the windows application. A control unit(150) generates a screen image, in which the windows application is displayed, on windows corresponding to the interface information. An output unit outputs the screen image. A storage unit(140) stores windows setting information corresponding to at least one among the size, the location, and the transparency of the windows. The control unit generates a screen image displaying the windows corresponding to the windows setting information.
