PURPOSE: A multi-plate lumbar support of a seat back for a vehicle is provided to widely support the lumbers of drivers and passengers with various body shapes. CONSTITUTION: A multi-plate lumbar support of a seat back for a vehicle comprises a seat back(500), a lumbar support actuating lever(200), a lumbar support unit(300), and a connecting gear(400). The seat back is equipped in the top of a seat(100) in a vehicle in order to support the back of passengers. The lumbar support actuating lever is rotatably combined to one side of a seat back side frame(210) and is equipped with a main gear(230) inside the seat back side frame and a handle(250) outside of the seat back side frame in order to rotate the main gear. The lumbar support unit comprises an upper shaft(310), a lower shaft(350), and a multi-plate type plate(380). The upper shaft comprises an upper shaft gear(320) for combining with the main gear inside of the seat back side frame in order to rotate. The lower shaft comprises a lower shaft gear(360). The multi-plate type plate is equipped in the center of the lower and upper shafts. The connecting gear is engaged between the upper and lower shaft gears in order to rotate the upper and lower shaft gears. |
