PURPOSE: A service system based on application use information obtained from a user terminal and a method thereof are provided to offer a customized recommendation about applications to a user based on various types of information obtained from the user terminal. CONSTITUTION: A setting unit(410) sets user approval on provision of application use information and personal user information by connection with an information collection application in a user terminal. A collection unit(420) collects the application use information by connection with the information collection application.
