PURPOSE: A safety valve device of a puffer cylinder for a gas circuit breaker is provided to extend the service life of a valve by preventing the performance reduction in spite of repetitive pressure discharge. CONSTITUTION: A safety valve device of a puffer cylinder for a gas circuit breaker comprises a main body(200), a guide unit, and an opening/closing rod unit(400). The main body is inserted and installed in an opening part at one side of the puffer cylinder opposite to the nozzle. A moving rod(140) is extended through one side of the puffer cylinder. A plurality of pressure vents(210) are formed on one side of the puffer cylinder. The guide unit is arranged separate from the pressure vents. The moving rod passes through the guide unit. The guide unit has a plurality of rod through holes(310) are formed in the same location as the pressure vents. The opening/closing rod unit is coupled to slide through the guide unit and includes a rod(410) for independently closing each pressure vent. |
