An aligner for a plat display panel and a scribing apparatus using the same are provided to elevate separately one of a pair of align pins in an arbitrary align plate, thereby adhering closely to a corresponding side of a board irrespective of the length difference of the align pins caused by abrasion and enabling minute alignment by delivering the horizontal movement pressure of the align plate to the board. An aligner for a plat display panel comprises an align plate(62), a pair of align pins(64,66), and an elevation unit(70). The align plate is positioned in the upper end of at least an edge of a target object(2) to elevate and move horizontally. The pair of align pins are protruded from the align plate downward to adhere closely to both sides of the edge of the target object. The elevation unit elevates separately one of the align pins. The aligner is mounted in a stage and aligns the plate-shaped target object with four edges and four sides. |
