PURPOSE: A nasty odor removing system is provided to remove ammonia which has insufficient reactivity with ozone in the upstream of a catalyst layer by a solid acid adsorbent layer, and to remove nasty odor components including hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, and methyl sulfide by the oxidizing power of ozone, and catalytic action. CONSTITUTION: A nasty odor removing system comprises the following successively starting from the air flowing direction in a tank (20): a demister (10), an activated carbon filter layer (1), an ozone generator (2), a solid acid adsorbent layer (4), a dehumidifier (5), a catalyst reaction filter (7), and a blower (8). The solid acid adsorbent layer is positioned in the downstream of an outlet (11), and arranged in a zigzag fluid pate (23) which is in the upstream of an outlet (12). Hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, and methyl sulfide are removed by an ozone catalytic process.
