PURPOSE: A cap having a shading unit on the front side of a head band and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to efficiently protect the back of either the head or neck of a user from sunlight, to feel excellent when worn, and to have an easy-to-use shading unit. CONSTITUTION: A cap having a shading unit comprises: a ring-shaped head band(111) fixed on the circumference of the head of a user; a cap visor(112) prepared on the front side of the head band to protrude from the front side of the ring-shaped head band; a shading part provided to cover both sides and the back of the head of the user on the circumference of the head band excluding a front side part of the circumference of the head band; an elastic rim-supporting rib(124) built in the lower part rim of the shading part to support the lower part rim of the shading ring to be spread; and a shading unit(120) having multiple intermediate elastic supporting ribs arranged vertically on the middle of the shading part to support the middle of the shading part to be spread toward the outside of the lower part of the shading unit. |
