PURPOSE: An information transmission method through converting and decoding a 2D barcode is provided to easily exchange information between different information devices, thereby minimizing time and effort of a user. CONSTITUTION: An area of characters, numbers, or character strings of being displayed is set(S100). Information of the area is converted into a 2D barcode, and the 2D barcode is displayed(S200). An image of the 2D barcode is obtained through a camera of an external information device(S300). The external information device decodes the image and displays the decoded information(S400). The area includes uniform resource locator(URL) information characters. A webpage is displayed after the decoding corresponding to the decoded URL information.
