OPTIMIZATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GEOCAST BASED MULTICAST ROUTING PATH IN MANET

摘要

PURPOSE: A geocast based multicast routing path optimization system and a method thereof are provided to reduce the number of network average hops by analyzing the number of average hops according to the number of nodes. CONSTITUTION: Location information is managed in an MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc NETwork) environment. A node exchanges an ID(Identification) and position information for a neighbor node which locates in a one hop distance. A GR(Geocast Region) is determined based on an area which broadcasts multicast service session information. A plurality of senders which provides different services broadcasts a service session to the GR. All nodes in the GR receive the service session information.
