<p>Producing 6-(5-ethoxyhept-1-yl)bicyclo[3.3.0]octane-3-one from a 6,6-dichloro-2-(5-ethoxyhept-1-yl)bicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-7-one (I), comprises eliminating chlorine atoms of 6,6-dichloro-2-(5-ethoxyhept- 1-yl)bicyclo[3.2.0]heptane-7-one, filtering and treating the filtrate with a sodium bicarbonate solution, where after filtration, the solvent is withdrawn from the filtrate in which the resulting product is added to the sodium bicarbonate solution. - ACTIVITY : Dermatological. - MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.</p> |
