PURPOSE: A chute for a belt conveyor is provided to prevent damage to facilities due to the excessive accumulation of transferred objects, by stopping a first belt conveyor when the chute detects the excessive accumulation of the transferred objects in a duct part. CONSTITUTION: A chute for a belt conveyor(1) comprises a duct part(10), a moving part(20), a detecting part(30), and a control part(40). The duct part is arranged in the end of a first belt conveyor(100), and guides transferred objects(80) dropped by the first belt conveyor. The moving part is mounted on the duct part, and is moved by the excessive accumulation of the transferred objects. The detecting part detects the movement of the moving part. The control part receives the detecting signal from the detecting part, and controls the first belt conveyor. The duct part comprises an upper plate(11), side plates(12), and a lower plate(13).
