PURPOSE: An electrode is provided to increase an adhesive strength of an active material layer to an electrode plate by arranging a conductive layer between the electrode plate and active material layer. CONSTITUTION: An electrode comprises an electrode plate(22); a conductive layer(21) which is formed on an electrode plate; and an active material layer(23) which is formed on the electrode plate and the conductive layer. The electrode plate has an uncoated region(3a) on which the surface of the electrode plate is exposed. The active material layer comprises an active material-protruded part. In the active material-protrude part, the edge part of the uncoated region in the active material layer is closer to the uncoated region than the edge part of the conductive part.
