PURPOSE: A method for measuring and processing slab width data is provided to measure the width of a slab, the amount of camber, and the amount of shift simply at low costs by using a cheap one-dimensional laser sensor of a pointer mode, thereby maximizing slab width data measuring and processing performance by reducing measurement errors of measurement data using the laser sensor. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring and processing slab width data is as follows. Distance information is obtained by measuring a distance between first and second laser sensors and a slab(S200). The width of the slab is calculated based on the distance information(S300). An amount of camber and the amount of shift are calculated based on the distance information and the width of the slab(S400).
