PURPOSE: A car body lifting device of a return line is provided to perform operation without using a workbench by loading a car body to a trolley after lowering the trolley and the car body from a return line. CONSTITUTION: A car body lifting device of a return line comprises a frame(100), a lifting unit(200), a cylinder unit(300), and a connection unit(400). The frame is inserted into a dock(21) which is covered by an upper plate(30) underneath the bottom surface(20) of an assembly line. The lifting unit is installed inside the frame to move vertically and comprises a plurality of supports(210) at the top and a pair of posts at the bottom. The cylinder unit comprises a body(310) which is rotatably installed on the frame and a rod(320) for expanding from the body. The connection unit is installed between a pillar and the rod. The connection unit is folded or unfolded by the cylinder unit and raises the lifting unit.
