<p>PURPOSE: An magnesium alloy using rare earth magnet scraps and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to share substances between different industries through an open type circulation technology, thereby improving the efficiency of recycling rare earth resources. CONSTITUTION: An magnesium alloy using rare earth magnet scraps comprises; a step for inserting the rare earth magnet scraps into molten magnesium; a step for dissolving the rare earth magnet scraps in the molten magnesium; a step for liquid-permeating the molten magnesium inside the rare earth magnet scraps; and a step for dispersing rare earth elements included in the rare earth magnet scraps to the molten magnesium.
