PURPOSE: A grip type strain insulator for a lead-in wire is provided to more easily grip and fix the polyvinyl chloride insulated drop service wire led in with the lead-in wire and a grip. CONSTITUTION: A grip type strain insulator(200) includes a body part(210). A grip(230) is linked with a lead-in wire, and grips the lead-in wire. A grip shaft(220) is formed at one side of the body part, and supports the grip. The lead-in wire passes through a fixing hole(250).
