PURPOSE: A sintered silicon carbide containing titanium boride and aluminum is provided to ensure excellent strength and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A sintered silicon carbide contains silicon carbide, titanium boride, and aluminum. The average particle size of the silicon carbide is 0.5-20 um. A method for preparing the sintered silicon carbide comprises: a step of mixing silicon carbide and titanium boride and preparing an ingredient(ST10); a step of molding the ingredient and preparing a molding product(ST20); a step of performing thermal treatment of the molding product(ST30); and a step of impregnating an aluminum material into the molding product(ST40).
