PURPOSE: A system for providing content to a plurality of terminals by using a virtual graphic processor unit(VGPU) and a method thereof are provided to reduce a generated time delay while requesting and receiving the content from a content providing server, thereby supplying the content from a first terminal to a second terminal. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(310) receives a content request signal from a first terminal among a plurality of terminals(100). The control unit receives a continuous-play request signal which transmits reproduced content from the first terminal to a second terminal. A VGPU(320) receives the content from a content providing server(200) corresponding to processing capacity. The VGPU encodes the content corresponding to a specification of the first terminal. A buffer(330) stores the content inputted from the VGPU and outputs the content to the first terminal in a predetermined time period.
