The rotor has a hub (12) that is defined on its two sides by obturators (9, 13). Each obturator includes an inlet opening (11) and an outlet opening (10) for allowing passage of fluid to distribute axial loads on two sides of the rotor. The inlet openings and/or the outlet openings are connected by a passage forming hollow part that allows the fluid to pass toward or away from a space containing the hub. The hub and the obturators are firmly connected using screws and nuts, to form a single-piece unit. An independent claim is also included for a rotary volumetric machine.
