PURPOSE: An exhaust gas treating apparatus for a coke oven is provided to collect absorption oil swept with foreign matters in order to reduce the consumption of the absorption oil, thereby reducing the cost for purifying the exhaust gas from the coke oven. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas treating apparatus for a coke oven comprises a scrubber(10), a collecting part(30), an oil separator(50), a heater(70), a desorber(80), and a water separator(86). The scrubber has an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe through which exhaust gas passes. Absorption oil for collecting crude light oil contained in exhaust gas is scattered in the scrubber. The collecting part collects the crude light oil swept through the outlet pipe. The collecting part includes a space part(32) and a branch pipe(34). One part of the outlet part is formed into the space part which is a U-shaped protrusion. The branch pipe is branched from the space part to the oil separator. The oil separator separates water among the crude light oil supplied from the collecting part. The absorption oil, which is heated by a heating part at a predetermined temperature and supplied from the heating part, passes through the desorber. The desorber scatters steam and the absorption oil in order to collect the crude light oil among the absorption oil. The water separator separates the water from the crude light oil discharged from the desorber, and then discharges the crude light oil and the water. [Reference numerals] (AA) Steam |
