PURPOSE: A room lamp device which is utilized as a flash light of a vehicle is provided to utilize a room lamp as the flash light at outside in a night time by integrating a room lamp part, the flash light, and a light bar function. CONSTITUTION: A flash room lamp(10) comprises a bulb for a room lamp and a bulb for a flash light. A power source for a vehicle(40) supplies power for charging to a flash room lamp. A door ajar switch(20) is turned on when a vehicle door is in an open state. A room lamp switch(30) is operated when the flash room lamp is turned on or a door is opened. A lamp for flash light comprises the bulb for the flash light. A lamp for room lamp comprises the bulb for the room lamp. A control device(12) operates the lamp for the flash light and the lamp for the room lamp as a flash lamp function, a light bar function, and a room lamp function. The control device controls charging and charging state display. A rechargeable battery supplies driving power. A flash switch(15) provides a flash on/off signal to the control device. A battery charging state indicator(16) indicates the state of battery charging.
