PURPOSE: An operation monitoring device for a vehicle is provided to be implemented at a low cost by including a no-load operation limiting device and a vehicular black box at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A parameter obtaining unit(100) obtains the parameters for the operation of a vehicle including the information on the velocity of the vehicle, and a no-load operation limiting unit(200) judges the occurrence and termination of a no-load operation from the parameters. If the no-load operation occurs, the no-load operation limiting unit stops the engine for reducing the fuel consumption. If the no-load operation is completed, the no-load operation limiting unit re-actuates the engine. A vehicle movement recorder(300) records the information on the normal driving operation of a vehicle and the accident of the vehicle. |
