PURPOSE: A resource allocation apparatus and a method thereof in a wireless communication system for improving the transmission efficiency of data are provided to improve data throughput by efficiently using resources in a wireless LAN. CONSTITUTION: A confirming unit(110) receives channel information and base station information from a system. The confirming unit confirms the number of available channels in the system. The confirming unit confirms the number of base stations from the base station information and the bandwidth of the channels where the base stations request allocation. The confirming unit confirms the number of base stations from the base station information and the bandwidths. An allocating unit allocates one or more channels to one base station. A generating unit transmits allocation information corresponding to the channel allocation to the base stations. |
