The present invention provides a water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic characterized by comprising the following (a) through (e). (a) is 10 to 30 mass% of hydrophobized zinc oxide and hydrophobized titanium oxide, (b) is 0.5 to 5 mass% of a lypophilic nonionic surfactant, (c) is 1 to 5 mass% of one, two or more oils selected from the group consisting of N-lauroyl-L-glutamine di(phytosteryl, 2-octyldodcyl), macadamia nut fatty acid phytosteryl, and macademia nut fatty acid cholesteryl, (d) is 10 to 40 mass% of volatile silicone oil and/or hydrocarbon oil, and (e) is 5 to 30 mass% of water. The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a sunscreen cosmetic containing hydrophobized zinc oxide and hydrophobized titanium oxide as UV scattering agents in powder form with which there is improvement of the poor texture attributed to the addition of multiple UV scattering agents in powder form and the poor washability associated with the addition of a UV scattering agent in powder form. |
