The present invention relates to a louvre vane system with a frame, which houses a plurality of vanes within the frame. The vanes can be rotated between an open position, in which the edges of adjacent vanes are spaced apart and a closed position, in which the edges of adjacent vanes abut each other to for:: a substantially continuous surface. When the vanes are in the closed position, a thermal membrane, is formed by the, vanes 14 that prevents drafts and limits heat exchange from one side of the membrane to the other. |
