AMMONIA PURIFICATION METHOD AND AMMONIA PURIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia purification method and an ammonia purification system which can efficiently adsorb and remove water and hydrocarbons contained in crude ammonia as impurities by making the most of the adsorption capacity of an adsorbent and purify ammonia by a simplified method.

SOLUTION: In the ammonia purification system 100, a first adsorption column 21 and a second adsorption column 22 adsorb and remove impurities contained in gaseous crude ammonia by the adsorbent independently having a capacity to adsorb water and hydrocarbons. A first condenser 31 separates and removes impurities of high volatility as gas phase components by partially condensing gaseous ammonia with impurities adsorbed and removed. A second condenser 32 separates and removes impurities of high volatility as gas phase components by partially condensing gaseous ammonia in a recovery tank 4 once more.
