<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an instrument panel structure that can alleviate a shock which an occupant receives from a display at a collision of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A display 12 is fixed to an instrument panel reinforcement 14 via reinforce brackets 70, 72 and supporting members 48, 50 while the supporting members 48, 50 are connected with a duct 38, 40, respectively, via connecting pieces 48C, 50C, and thereby a shock load is inputted to the display 12 so that shock loads are transmitted to the ducts 38, 40 via the connecting pieces 48C, 50C, respectively. Accordingly, shock energy generated by the shock loads inputted to the display 12 can be absorbed, and thereby the shock which the occupant receives from the display 12 at the collision of the vehicle can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
