<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot rotation device having good waterproof effect. <P>SOLUTION: A pivot rotation device 100 includes a first rotation member 110, a second rotation member 120, a first waterproof mechanism, and a second waterproof mechanism. The first rotation member is fixed to a base part and has a first internal space 110a and an opening 110b exposing the first internal space. The second rotation member is pivotally coupled to the first rotation member and is fixed to an electronic apparatus. In a space between the first rotation member and the second rotation member, a second internal space 120a allowing the first internal space to communicate therewith through the opening and a clearance exposing the second internal space are formed. A first waterproof mechanism is fixed to the first rotation member and encloses at least a part of the opening, thereby preventing a liquid from flowing into the first internal space through the opening. The second waterproof mechanism is fixed to the second rotation member and shields the clearance, thereby preventing the liquid from flowing into the second internal space through the clearance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
