Immediately before the actual irradiation, a confirmation beam intentionally impinges on a beam pattern (104) by 100% conduction of a high-speed Steara electromagnetic (102), the intensity of the emitted beam is measured by a dosimeter (105) and by a dosimeter device (106) in front, and the dose distribution is measured by a depth particle dosimeter (107). Thus, immediately before the actual irradiation, the energy, black peak, and irradiation depth of the charged particle beam irradiating the patient can be verified accurately and in real time. The effect of the confirmation is that continuous emission control is possible when the beam has the desired dose distribution.</p>
