PURPOSE: A multi-type air conditioner is provided to solve the unbalance of condensing capacity and evaporation capacity by switching heat exchangers of some outdoor units to evaporator. CONSTITUTION: A multi-type air conditioner comprises a plurality of outdoor units(1) and a plurality of indoor units(2). Each outdoor unit comprises an outdoor heat exchanger, a compressing unit, and a four-way valve. The outdoor units are connected to the indoor units. When the indoor units and the outdoor units operated, the conversion condition of the outdoor unit is satisfied, the four-way valve of some outdoor unit is switched to change the route of refrigerant to an evaporator from a condenser. |
