PURPOSE: An extensible markup language(XML) parser for a wireless communication device is provided to include an XML parsing module which separates and processes an XML code and a simple object access protocol(SOAP) module which analyzes and processes an written XML code corresponding to an SOAP, thereby supplying a processing environment for various XML codes in the wireless communication device. CONSTITUTION: An XML parsing module(11) processes an XML code by separating the same into each element. An SOAP module(12) processes a written XML code corresponding to an SOAP by analyzing the same. The XML parsing module includes a code separating module(110) which divides the XML code; an element storing module(111) which stores the element of the separated code; and an event processing module(112) which processes an event when the event is generated in the element. The XML parsing module, which is implemented as a C language, saves time and space necessary for processing the XML code.
