Obtained is an automobile side airbag device that can reduce the number of panels configuring a side airbag. In the side airbag (20) of the side airbag device, a sac-shaped airbag main body section (24) is formed by one panel (32) being folded in two and the outer peripheral edge thereof being sewn. Moreover, by means of the one panel (32) being partially folded and sewn, a tether section (30) is formed that demarcates the interior of the airbag main body section (24) into a chest chamber (26) and a lumbar chamber (28). |
