<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cuisine assisting device capable of offering a user a satisfactory service while reducing burden of a helper. <P>SOLUTION: A cuisine assisting system 10 includes a server 11 installed in a home helper service office, portable terminals 12 (cuisine assisting devices) each of which is carried by a helper dispatched to a general household from the home helper service office and a communication network 13 communicably connecting the server 11 and the portable terminals 12. The system extracts from a recipe database a recipe showing the same food materials as remaining food materials showed by received remaining material information, picks up the food material information showing food materials other than food materials previously registered from among material information stored in association with the extracted recipe, extracts substitute information from a substitute database which stores the food material information and substitute information showing materials to be substituted for the materials shown by the food material information, and notifies the extracted recipe and the extracted substitute information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
