INSTANTANEOUS FUEL CONSUMPTION DISPLAYING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display instantaneous fuel consumption by rapidly calculating fuel consumption, and to avoid a reception error of fuel injection amount information FI caused by to noise.

SOLUTION: An injection valve 42 injects a given amount of fuel into an engine 3 in response to an injection pulse. An ECU 33 inputs an injection pulse corresponding to an amount of calculated injected fuel to the injection valve 42. The ECU 33 inputs information F1 on an amount of injected fuel corresponding to the number of injection pulses supplied to the injection valve 42 to a display controlling portion 45 through a communication line 48. The ECU 33 produces the information F1 on the amount of injected fuel composed of digital data ID whenever a given number of injection pulses corresponding to the given amount of fuel is inputted. The display controlling portion 45 decides that the given amount of fuel is injected from the injection valve 42 when a predetermined number of pieces of digital data ID is properly received. The display controlling portion 45 calculates instantaneous fuel consumption based on an amount of injected fuel which is thus decided and an operating distance to make a meter 31 display it.
