<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of a battery device by forcing the battery to discharge when electric power remains in a used thin battery. <P>SOLUTION: The battery device comprises a thin battery including: a sheet-like electrode group comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and an electrolyte intercalated between the first electrode and the second electrode; and an exterior body for sealing and housing the electrode group, and has a compulsive discharge operation switch for switching states between a state in which the first electrode and the second electrode are in an external short circuit and a state in which the first electrode and the second electrode are not in the external short circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
