<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intuitive and simple user interface in a multimedia reproduction device. <P>SOLUTION: A menu management unit associates items of a content obtained from a storage unit with plural folder icons 120 symbolizing display units of the content. A menu screen generation unit generates image data of a menu screen 50 including a function icon arrangement 70 in which plural function icons 52-62 are arranged in a horizontal direction and a folder icon arrangement 72 in which the plural folder icons 120 are arranged in a vertical direction. An effect processing unit obtains one content icon symbolizing a related content for each of the plural folder icons as a folder pasting image 122 from the storage unit, and displays the folder pasting image 122 and the folder icon 120 in an overlapping manner so that the folder pasting image is included in a translucent folder icon in the folder icon arrangement 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
