<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a CR cassette and an FPD to be mixedly used even when the latter is added in the radiography system using the former, and also, to limit the extent of influence due to the addition or the updating in order to reduce the range of system debugging during the system function expansion and to facilitate the same function expansion. <P>SOLUTION: A method for updating a radiography system is configured by newly introducing a portable radiation image detector 6 that has a radiation irradiation device 3, a CR cassette 9, a radiation image reader 2, and a console 7 into an existing radiography system to enable both the CR cassette 9 and the portable radiation image detector 6 to be used together with a radiation irradiation device 3 in the system. As the portable radiation image detector 6, it is configured to use a radiation image detector that can detect by itself the start of radiation irradiation from the radiation irradiation device 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
