<p>The present invention relates to an artificial leather using water-dispersible polyurethane, and to a method for manufacturing the artificial leather. A method for manufacturing an artificial leather having a surface with a pattern having concavities and convexities using the water-dispersible polyurethane resin, comprises the steps of: adjusting the water-dispersible polyurethane resin and water to have a weight ratio of 8:2; repeatedly coating a release paper (102), having a surface with a pattern having concavities and convexities, with the water-dispersible polyurethane resin to a predetermined thickness and drying the resultant structure in a dry chamber (106); applying a water-dispersible urethane adhesive to a laminate (107), which has been coated onto the release paper and dried, and drying the resultant structure in a semi-dry chamber (109); combining a textile (110) with the laminate, which has been coated with the adhesive and dried, compressing the resultant structure, drying the resultant structure in a semi-dry chamber (109'), and then re-compressing the resultant structure using a compression roller (111); and aging the laminate, which has been combined with the textile, for a predetermined time in an aging chamber (113) and delaminating the release paper. The method for manufacturing the artificial leather according to the present invention involves the use of a release paper coated with a polypropylene resin to form a clearer pattern having convexities and concavities on the surface of the artificial leather made of the polyurethane resin and to lower the moisture content of the water-dispersible polyurethane, thus increasing the density of the artificial leather and improving the durability and abrasion resistance thereof.</p> |
