A 3D imaging device (10) pertaining to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a first and second imaging unit (11-1, 11-2) that are both monocular 3D imaging units. The 3D imaging device (10) is further provided with a cross-point control unit (40), and the cross-point control unit controls an image generation unit in a manner so that the cross-point of the 3D images displayed at an image display unit (30) does not change before and after switching when switching from imaging by means of a multi-eye 3D imaging function to a monocular 3D imaging function, and when switching from imaging by means of the monocular 3D imaging function to imaging by means of the multi-eye 3D imaging function. As a result, it is possible to suppress large changes in pop-out state resulting from changes in the cross-point, and it is possible to display an image with a natural feeling when switching imaging modes.
