LEAF NODE INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM

Disclosed are a leaf node information transmission method, device and system. The method is applied to a multicast label distribution protocol (mLDP) network, including: generating a protocol message which includes leaf node information about the mLDP network; and sending the protocol message to an upstream node in the mLDP network, so that the leaf node information is transmitted to the root node of the mLDP network hop by hop. Using the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention, expanding an LDP protocol message or other protocol messages for leaf node information transmission belongs to in-band transmission which need not maintain an additional neighbouring relationship between the root node and the leaf nodes, thus saving network resources and enhancing usability of multicast networks.
