<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag storage structure for a vehicle reducible in cost by attaining a reduction in the number of parts and simplification of an assembling process of the airbag storage structure for the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag storage structure 2 for the vehicle includes an airbag storage container 3 storing an airbag 4 and fixed to the inner surface of a vehicle interior material 1. A part, located in an opening of the airbag storage container 3, of the vehicle interior material 1 is provided with a break inducing part 1b, and this region of the vehicle interior material 1 is formed with hinge parts 1d thinner in thickness than a remaining part excluding the part provided with the break inducing part 1b. A reinforcing material 5 higher in tear strength than the vehicle interior material 1 at each hinge part 1d is embedded in the part provided with each hinge part 1d to extend to both sides from a thinnest wall thickness part of the vehicle interior material 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
