<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method and an improved device for treating a body site of slaughtered poultry. <P>SOLUTION: The body site 1 includes a bone part including at least a part of a thoracic cage 20 and at least a part of a breast bone 21 and at least a part of an outside breast meat and at least a part of inside breast meat, the method includes a step for making temporary cutouts in both sides of the breast bone 21, the temporary cutouts includes a step for leaving a part of the member present between the inside breast meat and the outside breast meat in an original shape, a step for separating meats present leaning against the breast bone at both the sides by scraping out the same using a first scraper, a step for separating by scraping at least a part of the inside breast meat from the breast cage using a second scraper, a step for cutting a joint membrane between the inside breast meat and the breast cage, and a step for removing the outside breast meat and the inside breast meat from the bone part of the body site and leaving the joint part of the inside breast meat and the outside breast meat in the original shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
