<p>Process for granular fertilizer Powered calcium phosphate esp. Thomas slag water and opt. a binder and/or a potassium salt esp. pot. chloride are mixed, granulated and dried, the mixing being performed by simultaneous crushing between two hard surfaces, one flat and the other cylindrical, and rubbing the material by sliding one surface over the other, the direction of movement being perpendicular to the direction of roll and repeated a large number of times pref. by causing the roller to traverse a closed circuit. A homogeneous mix of correct humidity and density is produced which gives an improved granule.</p> |
