<p>An event notification service method and system, comprising: an event issuing server; and a plurality of relay servers that relay and transfer events to a user terminal or notification requests from the user terminal to the event issuing server, requesting notification of events from the event issuing server. The relay servers comprise: a transfer table wherein transfer keys, including event identification information identifying events, and transfer destination addresses, indicating addresses of other relay servers that are the transfer destinations to which notification requests or events are transferred from the relay server, are associated beforehand; and a message transfer means that receives a transfer request for a notification request or an event that includes a transfer key, and transfers the notification request or the event to the relay server having a transfer destination address associated in the transfer table to a transfer key that is the same as the transfer key included in the notification request or the event relating to the transfer request.</p> |
