PURPOSE: A multimedia service, a providing method thereof, a multimedia service providing server and a providing terminal are provided to deliver an audio and video to an opponent and talk over a telephone by receiving the audio and video information of the opponent while using a video communication service, thereby make the content delivery and the opinion expression more clearly than the video communication which added the emotional information. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia service providing server and a providing terminal comprises followings: terminals(100,200) which are able to send the audio and video information to an opponent terminal by a network(300) in order to do a video communication, extract user emotional information from the video information and send the extracted emotional information to the opponent terminal by a network(300), manage the necessary information for a video communication service, and communicate with a server supporting the user information management and the opponent information request for the video communication service; a server(400) which manages a terminal and the user information by relating with the terminal, monitors a status of the video communication service, and manages the information necessary for the video communication service; a protocol for the information exchange and control between the terminal and the server; and a protocol for the information exchange, data exchange, and control between the terminals.
