PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood cholesterol reducer having a more remarkable effect than a conventional technology, with the background that many drugs or foods for reducing blood cholesterol have been developed hitherto because an excessive amount of blood cholesterol causes hyperlipidemia though cholesterol is a kind of lipids and is a physiologically indispensable material for animals.

SOLUTION: This blood cholesterol reducer includes a chrysalis and/or a larva of an insect. The insect may be Musca domestica.
