<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by preventing damage or leakage caused by a flood disaster in a fuel tank device. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel tank device includes: a guide cylinder 11 that is stood on the earth 10; a fuel tank 12 that can be elevated along the guide cylinder 11; and a lifting device that lifts the fuel tank 12 according to a water level of the earth 10.
